DESCRIPTION:DELTA-Con\, now in its seventh year\, is NC State’s annual unconference that brings together attendees from NC State University and local higher education institutions. Faculty\, staff and graduate students are welcome to attend this discussion-based event to share their insights into higher education. \nDELTA-Con is a great way for you to network with your peers and discover the latest in academic technology and innovation. \nHow does DELTA-Con work? \nAs a participant\, you will create the sessions collaboratively with other attendees! After registering\, you can add your ideas to a “big board” of possible topics that we will continue building at DELTA-con. On the day of the event\, we will finalize a schedule based on participant interest. Each session will then be facilitated by a DELTA staff member but led by the participants in the room sharing best-practices\, discussing challenges\, working through ideas\, and more. DESCRIPTION:The NC State University Office for Faculty Excellence (OFE)\, Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) and the NC State University Libraries invite faculty\, postdoctoral scholars and professional staff from all six member institutions of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (NC State\, Meredith College\, Saint Augustine’s University\, Shaw University\, Wake Tech Community College\, William Peace University) to attend the 2024 NC State Conference on Faculty Excellence\, which will be held March 6\, 2024. The second annual conference brings together campus partners with an investment in faculty excellence. Leading experts from NC State’s Office for Faculty Excellence\, DELTA and University Libraries will offer workshops throughout the day focused on the following subjects: \n\nMentoring and Career Mapping\nCreative and Critical Thinking\nScholarship of Teaching and Learning\nOnline and Hybrid Education\nLibrary Support of Teaching and Learning\nPoster Session\n\nLocation\nThe 2024 NC State Conference on Faculty Excellence will be held in the Duke Energy Hall on the second floor of the Hunt Library on NC State’s Centennial Campus\, 1070 Partners Way\, Raleigh\, NC 27606.
