For Eli Crowley ’28 the internship was about confirming the career path he wanted to follow.
For Emily Parris ’26 it was about stepping outside of her comfort zone.
And for Martha Parlier ’26 this past semester revealed new insights about herself.
Internships are a key part of the curriculum at William Peace University — in fact, every in-person student is expected to complete at least one. On November 20, inside the Hermann Athletic Center, 28 students presented their experiences to faculty, staff, and their peers.
According to statistics from the Center for Student Success (CSS), on average over the last three years, 95 percent of Peace graduates find jobs or attend graduate school within one year of graduation. These graduates are prepared for their career fields in large part because of the required internship.
