On Thursday, July 23, 2026, staff from our participating institutions gathered at Union Station in Downtown Raleigh for the 10th Annual Staff Professional Development Conference. With the theme Building Community through Education, programming included a keynote speech by Amber Melanie Smith, where attendees were empowered to become change-makers, an activity to encourage other educators in our community with Activate Good,  and presentations from esteemed colleagues.
