Game Design Students Apply Classroom Skills in World University Games Internship

Two William Peace University students joined the FISU World University Games (WUG) team this semester as part of the spring internship program.

Miles Soza ’26 and Nicholas Vargas ’27 are two of the five students in the spring internship class.

The World University Games is the world’s second-largest international multi-sport event, featuring collegiate athletes from more than 150 countries participating in a wide variety of sports. The event is held every two years. The 2029 event will take place here in the Triange. Soza and Vargas will spend their time working on a promotional video game ahead of the event.
