Turning Creativity Into Careers Through User Experience Design

William Peace University is preparing students for careers in one of today’s fastest-growing creative and technology-driven fields with its user experience design (UXD) major, a program focused on designing meaningful digital experiences.

UXD combines creativity, technology, and human-centered problem-solving, equipping students with skills used to design websites, apps, and interactive products. The program emphasizes experiential learning, allowing students to apply classroom concepts to real-world design challenges.

“I tell my students that UX is critical thinking, critical problem-solving,” said Jackson Bostian, assistant professor of user experience design. “It doesn’t matter what discipline or what kind of company you go to — you can apply UX skills.”
