Many Meredith College students used their summer to complete an internship:
Caroline Holt, ’27, served as an operations and events intern with the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City, N.C., this summer. The Big Rock Tournament is one of the world’s largest sportfishing tournaments, bringing together anglers from around the country in support of the local community and charitable causes.
Allegra Banks, ’27, was an intern with the N.C. Department of Administration this summer.
“My role involves supporting and helping facilitate the State of NC Internship Program, our State Youth Councils, and the Lady Cardinal Mentorship Program. I have had the opportunity to see almost all facets of state government, from the NC Zoo to the General Assembly.”
Cate Pierson, ’28, was an intern on Kane Realty Corporation’s special events team. Her primary role was supporting North Hills community events.
